Senior Vice President - Investment Officer Fundamental Choice Portfolio Manager

In addition to managing a discretionary portfolio within Wells Fargo Advisors' Fundamental Choice platform, (focusing on tactical, technical analysis and fundamental opportunities on a long term growth view), Brad analyzes client's overall wealth management goals and coordinates various strategies with other team members for a comprehensive plan and investment allocation.  This includes advanced planning and investment strategies, such as concentrated stock positions, diversification, restricted stock planning and exercising, exchange funds, employee stock options, alternative investments (hedge funds, managed futures, private equity, credit structures, and total asset allocation. Additionally, he helps with estate and tax planning investment strategies, working with client's legal and tax professionals to ensure the entire plan is incorporated within the investment strategy. 


Bradley Small has his FINRA Series 7, 63, and Investment Advisory Representative Series 65 registrations, Series 31 Futures Managed Funds registration, as well as Life, Health and Disability insurance licenses..

Past Experience 

Prior to joining Wells Fargo Advisors, Bradley Small was Vice President - Wealth Management and Senior Investment Management Specialist at Smith Barney in Danvers, MA (2001-2009) and Senior Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch's Private Client Group in Peabody, MA (1996-2001) Prior to Merrill, Bradley was the Vice President of the North Shore Chamber of Commerce, Inc.(1988-1996).


Bradley Small has a MBA (concentration in finance/investments) from the F.W. Olin Graduate School at Babson College, and a BA in Business Adminstration, Accounting, and Economics from Gordon College.

Personal life 

Brad enjoys supporting and working with various charitable organizations and causes and is current Chairman of the Board for the North Shore Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Downtown Harvard Club and the Renaissance Golf Club and Community Boating in Boston.  He enjoys playing and watching ice hockey, as well as golf, sailing, boating, skiing, tennis and biking.
